Other key features include sweeping ceilings and rammed earth walls constructed from locally sourced clay from the Crown Range. Natural light fills the spacious home, thanks to a high-performance window system delivering both warmth and protection from the summer sun.

15 Winders Street was designed by Rafe Maclean Architects using Passivhaus principles to deliver an energy efficient home that showcases Wanaka’s best materials and workmanship. Completed in 2021, this home was constructed by our partners Dunlop Builders and is the recipient of multiple awards in the 2022 Master Builders House of the Year competition, including the Sustainability and Environmental Excellence Award.
